Nano Adjustable Table
Designer: Eileen Gray (1879-1976)
High quality reproduction of Eileen Gray's end table.
One of the most rational of Eileen Gray's design, this height-adjustable table (1972) reflects the designer's desire for functional perfection. Conceived as a bedside table for the guest room in Gray's famous E. 1027 house in Cap Martin, every detail was carefully considered to ensure practicality as well as beauty. The open-circle base allows the design to wrap around sofa and chair legs for closer proximity to the user, while the height-adjustable tabletop can be placed over the tallest mattresses or sofa arms. A steel chain prevents the adjustment pin from being lost. Simple assembly required.
